The Lusaka High Court has entered judgment in default of appearance against PR Girl Media Limited and its directors in a matter where AB Bank was demanding payment of over K500,000 credit facility.

AB Bank had asked the court to enter judgment in default of appearance in the matter where it had sued PR Girl Media Limited and its directors, Tonga Agnes, Abigail Nyambe and Nyambe Monde, seeking immediate payment of K535,950.97 outstanding balance, due to their failure to file defence in the matter.

It further wanted an order that the mortgage created by PR Girl Media and Agness Tonga be enforced by an order of foreclosure, vacant possession and sale of the mortgaged properties namely Subdivision A of stand number 1275 situated in Lusaka, among other claims.

The High Court registrar has now entered judgment in default in favour of AB Bank ordering the respondents, to pay K535,959.97, being the outstanding balance as at July12, 2019 on credit facilities advanced to PR Girl Media Limited and guaranteed by its directors.

The court has further ordered that the mortgage created by PR girl media and Agness Tonga be enforced by an order of foreclosure, vacant possession and sale of the mortgage properties namely Subdivision A of stand number 1275 situated in Lusaka.

AB Bank will also be given further payment of interest at the agreed rates and payment of all charges and costs of and incidental to any order for foreclosure, obtaining vacant possession and sale of the mortgaged properties.
