LUSAKA High Court Judge Catherine Lombe has recused herself from handling a matter in which UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema has been sued by an administrator of the estate of late George Hambwalula over the alleged fraudulent purchase of three farms in Kalomo District. According to a notice to the acting judge-in-charge, Judge Lombe stated that since she presided over the matter in which Hichilema was sued by the Hatembo family, there was a high risk that she would be perceived to be potentially biased in handling the matter. “I have carefully considered the originating process.
