FORMER NDC leader Chishimba Kambwili has been acquitted by the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court in a matter where he was charged with contempt of court. In her judgement, Lusaka Magistrate Nsunge Chanda said the State had failed to prove their case beyond reasonable and left gaps in their prosecution. In this matter, Kambwili was charged with contempt of court for allegedly tampering with evidence in relation to Mwamona Engineering and Technical Services Limited at PACRA, which was a subject in an active case before Magistrate David Simusamba.
