Zambia face Rwanda this Saturday in the two sides’ 2017 African Rugby Group 1 C decider at Lusaka Showgrounds.

Rwanda beat winless Mauritius 24-12 on April 26 in Lusaka to set up deciding tie against Zambia in the three-team, round-robin competition that began on April 23.

Mauritius’ defeat comes five days after they were crushed 69-3 by hosts Zambia at the same venue on April 23.

Winner on Saturday will vie for promotion to the African Rugby Group 1 B zone against victor of the Group C North tournament that will involve Nigeria, Cameroon and Algeria.

There will be no playoff between the two zones for promotion to Group 1B but the tie will be decided on superior goal difference accrued from their respective tournaments.
