Zambia Under-20 team coach Beston Chambeshi says his charges are firmly focused on Sunday’s opening Group C clash against Portugal at the 2017 FIFA U20 World Cup.
Zambia arrived in South Korea for the World Cup on Wednesday after a two-week pre-tournament training camp in Spain and have settled down at the Jeju base where  Group C will be based.
Chambeshi added that he was delighted to also see that his team was injury free ahead of their date against the two-time World champions.
“They have to focus and look forward to Sunday’s game. It is the opening group game so we have to start on a good note,” Chambeshi said.
“They have to get geared to the big event which is the World Cup and I am sure it is not easy, but going by the preparations, the morale is high in the team.
“In training everyone is enjoying it here in Korea and I hope they can replicate that in the tournament.”
South Korea is hosting the FIFA U20 World Cup from May 20 to June 11.
