Zambia are almost at full strength with just one player yet to join camp on Tuesday.

Russian-based striker Fashion Sakala of Spartak Moscow was expected to join camp by Tuesday evening after taking care of a league obligation late on Sunday.

But the rest of Fashion’s fellow Zambia Under-20 call ups have joined camp in Lusaka.

Emmanuel Banda, Patson Daka, Moses Nyondo, Boston Muchindu, Edward Chilufya and Enock Mwepu were all part of Tuesday morning training with their senior counterparts led by captain and goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene.

But Zambia only held one training session in the morning and took the afternoon off after a gruelling full day of practice on Monday.

And for a second successive session, Zambia on Tuesday held training behind closed doors this time at Nkoloma Stadium after also practicing away from preying eyes on Monday afternoon at Woodlands Stadium.

Meanwhile, Algeria are expected on Thursday on a charter flight from Algiers for the September 2 date at National Heroes Stadium.

Zambia and Algeria are tied on 1 point each in Group B.

They are one point behind 3nd placed Cameroon and five points adrift of leaders Nigeria.
