Hosts Zambia has exited the 2017 COSAFA Under-20 Cup with a win following a 2-0 victory over Swaziland today  at Nkana  Stadium in Kitwe.
The outgoing champions finished 3rd in Group A on 4 points, one behind Malawi and group winners Uganda at the end of the preliminary round of the competition.
A brace from Francisco Mwepu handed the 2016 winners and record 11-time champions  their only win and only goals of the tournament.
The two sides went into the break  0-0 but  Zambia had  the better chances with Ngosa  Sunzu  denied  twice  in  the 9th and  33rd minute by the  Swaziland  goalkeeper Mlamuli Lukhele.
Mwepu too had an opportunity in the 39th minute but was quelled by Lukhele.
He made no mistake in the 49th minute when he headed in a Price Mumba cross.
He completed his brace in stoppage time in similar fashion to see  Zambia make an honourable exit from the competition.
