National Soccer team interim coach Aggrey Chiyangi has left out U-23 players in the squad heading to Niger and Benin for international friendly matches.

Chipolopolo will play the two countries on October 10 and October 13 respectively during the FIFA window of October 7-15.

It is believed that the U-23 players will be called to camp in readiness for the 2019 U-23 AFCON which will commence early next month.

The Chipolopolo interim trainer has summoned 14 locals players and nine foreign based others.

Embattled Orlando Pirates duo of Augustine Mulenga and Justin Shonga are part of those who have been summoned.

The CHAN squad consisting of local players will host eSwatini on October 19 at National Heroes stadium.

On November 11, Zambia will play Algeria in Blida and host Zimbabwe the same month on November 19 in the 2021 AfCON qualifiers.

The Chipolopolo squad that has been called for the international friendlies has since left for Niger.
