UPND National Chairperson Mutale Nalumango has announced reshuffles in the party leadership ahead of the party’s General Assembly.
Prominent among those appointed are former Lubansenhi Independent member of parliament Patrick Mucheleka as deputy secretary general and former Kafue PF member of parliament Obvious Mwaliteta as Lusaka province chairman.
“I wish to advise all members across the country to support all the new appointees for the party to make progress. Those with concerns on particular appointees must follow the laid down party structures to air their concerns. UPND shall continue to promote an all-inclusive and constitutional process in appointing party officials. The newly appointed officials will hold office until the next UPND General Assembly .The General Assembly will be held after elections at lower organs of the Party have been concluded,” said Nalumango at a media briefing today.
