President Edgar Lungu has donated incubators and a borehole to Fountain of Hope orphanage school in Kamwala through Presidential Empowerment Initiative.

Speaking when he handed over the items to the school, Presidential Empowerment Initiative Fund national coordinator Clement Tembo said it saddened President Lungu to see vulnerable children suffering.

“It gives us great joy here at Fountain of Hope where we are donating incubators and drilling a borehole for the orphans here at Fountain of Hope, valued at K45,000. We are excited and it gives us a lot of joy to His Excellency the President of Republic of Zambia, Mr Edgar Chagwa Lungu, that he is leaving no stone unturned,” said Tembo.

“We are exhausting all avenues possible to ensure that the vulnerable and yet viable citizens of this nation have a platform of exposure and access to a piece of cake. This is a great day and allow me to state that these children we are seeing today are the future leaders of this nation. We are on a national tour [where] we are going round across the nation to ensure that we give support to our traders, our marketeers, and indeed the children here at Fountain of Hope.”

Tembo said all avenues available will be exhausted to help the underprivileged around the nation.

And Fountain of Hope founder Rodgers Mwewa thanked President Lungu for the gesture.
