The Patriotic Front (PF) in Kabwata Constituency has suspended its constituency youth chairman Chisha Mutale for allegedly being involved in the attack on area member of parliament Given Lubinda in July this year.
In a suspension letter issued by constituency chairman Caritus Mwansa dated October 1, 2019, the constituency stated that the move was meant to pave way for smooth investigations.
“It is alleged that you were connected to the attack on Honourable Given Lubinda in the Kabwata market. While investigations have been instituted in the matter, you have been suspended from official duties with immediate effect,” Mwansa stated.
Meanwhile, Mwansa replaced Mutale with acting youth chairman Aubrey Mwale.
“You have been appointed constituency youth chairman with immediate effect. This appointment is for administrative convenience until the incumbent is back. Congratulations,” stated Mwansa.
