THE Ministry of Health says 47 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, of which the youngest was a 1-year-old baby and the oldest was an 86-year-old female patient. And Secretary to the Cabinet Dr Simon Miti says President Edgar Lungu has commended health workers for doing a commendable job under difficult circumstances. Speaking during a press briefing, Tuesday, Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary in charge of Technical Services Dr Kennedy Malama said the cumulative number of confirmed cases recorded to date stood at 152,056. “In the last 24 hours, we recorded 2,395 new confirmed COVID-19 cases out of 9,952 tests conducted (24 percent positivity), bringing the cumulative number of confirmed cases recorded to date to 152,056....
