A special Investigation has revealed that as many as 20,000 Malawians have registered to vote in Zambia’s August 12th general election. According to the Malawian nationals who now possess both Zambian green national registration cards and voters cards obtained from the Electoral Commission of Zambia, all they wanted was Zambian citizenship status. In this investigation, a News Diggers crew goes on the ground on the Malawian board to speak to some ‘foreigners’ who will be helping Zambians elect their leaders next month. With help from local journalists and some concerned local residents, we interview the foreign voters, the people who transported them across the boarder and those who are accused of mobilising the foreigners to register as voters in Zambia....
