FINANCE Minister Dr Situmbeko Musokotwane says domestic debt is not growing as fast as it did under the PF government. Dr Musokotwane adds that the UPND government has turned around the country’s economy from a desperate situation marked by uncontrolled debt, exchange rate instability and high unemployment. On Monday, Economist Dr Lubinda Haabazoka said the rate at which domestic debt was rising compared to external debt was worrying. He urged government to forgo certain projects when it felt there were no resources.
