A 36-YEAR-OLD Kitwe businesswoman, Khadija Mingel, has appeared before the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court for allegedly trafficking in 500 grams of cocaine without lawful authority. Meanwhile, a state witness has told the court that Mingel was one of the ladies interested in buying a Mark X from his car dealership, a vehicle later discovered with drugs in her custody. In this matter, Mingel is charged with the offence of trafficking in narcotic drugs, contrary to Section 15 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act Number 35 of 2021 of the Laws of Zambia.
