ELVIS Nkandu has delivered key interventions on reforming the convention within the framework of global sport integrity at the the 10th Session of the Conference of Parties (COP10) held at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France. Speaking during the high-level meeting, the Minister of Sports Youth and Arts urged participating states to support progressive proposals tabled by the Open-Ended Working Group chaired by his Permanent Secretary, Kangwa Chileshe. The proposals focus on enhancing compliance mechanisms, strengthening monitoring processes, promoting peaceful resolution of disputes, and reinforcing the Convention’s funding framework to ensure sustained implementation.
