THE Zambia national team has officially commenced preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) to be held in Morocco.   Head coach Moses Sichone has summoned 30 local players to join the squad for a training camp set to begin this weekend.   The local training camp will serve as the first phase of Zambia’s AFCON build-up with Sichone and his technical bench looking forward to use the camp to assess players and begin shaping the squad before moving on to an international pre-tournament camp.   The 30 players selected for the initial camp are part of the 55-player provisional list that all participating teams submitted to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) as a mandatory requirement ahead...
