FORMER ACC commissioner Dr O’Brien Kaaba says the Technical Committee which has been tasked to consult citizens and draft proposed amendments to the Constitution is not illegal. Dr Kaaba notes that for one to argue that the Committee is illegal, they must demonstrate that the appointment of the committee is rationally inconsistent with the purpose of the power under which it was appointed. In a statement, Sunday, Dr Kaaba argued that the Technical Committee was legally constituted.
