PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema says he had the motivation to go on the streets to protest when he felt UPND was not treated properly during elections, but chose not to. President Hichilema said this during the inauguration ceremony of Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan, whose victory has reportedly led to violent protests which have resulted in the loss of lives. President Hichilema appealed to the Tanzanian people to protect the peace they have enjoyed for decades.
