THE Higher Education Loans and Scholarships Board (HELSB) has disclosed that it currently collects, on average, K20 million every month in student loan recoveries, out of the K5 billion that is due. And HELSB Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr John Machayi says the board is currently sponsoring 44,000 students across nine public universities.
