SOCIALIST Party National Youth Chairperson Kelvin Kaunda has resigned from the party. Announcing his resignation on Phoenix FM’s ‘Let the people talk’ programme, Friday, Kaunda said with recent happenings in the party, it had become clear that there was mistrust, as their relationship had broken. He thanked Dr Fred M’membe for the opportunity he was given to serve under his party, as he wished him well during next year’s elections. “When you’ve done the right thing, it doesn’t matter your political affiliation. If I have done the wrong thing, even my own party should be able to call it out. I must never be praised on the basis that I belong to a particular organisation. That’s how leaders get destroyed....
