THE Zambia Environmental Management Agency (ZEMA) has shut down operations at Dashun Industry Company Limited, a Zinc-Oxide Smelting Plant in Kabwe, for persistent non-compliance with environmental regulations. The Agency has revealed that the company defied the directive to cease operations and continued operating, leading to the arrest of Plant Supervisor Cao Honjian.
