POLICE in Mazabuka are holding a man for allegedly defiling a 12-year-old girl. In a statement, Southern Province Police Commanding Officer Moono Namalongo said the victim was lured into the suspect’s house after she returned the brazier she got from him and collected some fire in order to prepare a meal. “On November 19, 2025, at 16:00 hours, 10 Miles Police Post under Mazabuka Police Station received a report of defilement from a 38-year-old female resident of Munyengele Farms in Mazabuka.
