THE Department of Immigration has apprehended over 100 foreign nationals, who include 89 Ethiopians who were intercepted in Kapiri Mposhi in a tanker truck. In a statement, Monday, the Department’s Chief Public Relations Officer Namati Nshinka said immigration officers intercepted a tanker truck belonging to Karan Transport Limited carrying Ethiopian nationals who are believed to have been in transit to South Africa. “On Sunday, 23rd November 2025, the Kapiri Mposhi Immigration Office apprehended 89 Ethiopian nationals for failing to appear before the nearest Immigration Officer on entry. The suspected illegal immigrants were intercepted at the Kapiri Mposhi turnoff in a tanker truck bearing registration numbers AJF 7250 (truck) and AJF 7218 (tanker), both belonging to Karan Transport Limited of Lusaka....
