THE latest Auditor General’s Report on accounts of the republic has revealed that the Ministry of Defence entered into a contract with Exoline Investments Limited of Lusaka to supply 50 Toyota Corolla and 25 Lexus brand new vehicles for the Zambia Army at a contract sum of $4,375,000 using irregular direct bidding. And the report has revealed that the Ministry entered into a contract with Sarago General Dealers to supply two Lexus, one Toyota Land Cruiser and four Mazda brand new vehicles at a sum of $552,000 without clearance from the Attorney General.
