AN arresting officer has told the court that former home affairs minister Stephen Kampyongo’s international travel allowances were not added to his total earnings for the period he served as minister. The witness also told the court that according to investigations, AVIC international was not involved in the building of flats allegedly owned by Kampyongo in Foxdale, Lusaka. Zangiwe Mulenga, an acting senior investigations officer at ACC, was testifying in a matter in which Kampyongo and his wife are facing 12 counts of possession of property suspected to be proceeds of crime worth over K26 million, before the Economic and Financial Crimes Court.
