THE Patriotic Front says the summoning and subsequent arrest of its vice-president Given Lubinda over remarks he made towards Speaker of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti is an abuse of the law and State Institutions. The former ruling party, through its Information and Publicity Chairperson Raphael Nakacinda contends that the National Assembly does not have powers to sanction and put citizens on trial for refusing to appear before it.
