MEDICAL for Quality Healthcare in Zambia (MQHZ) Director General Dr Quincy Mwabu says government should consider taking the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIMA) back to the Ministry of Health. In an interview, Dr Mwabu said only the Ministry of Health could understand the challenges which NHIMA was facing. “It will be very difficult to understand the challenges NHIMA is facing under the Labour Ministry because the Ministry of Health deals with the lives of people and when you see the Labour Ministry, they deal with first of all workers.
