FORMER defence minister George Mpombo says the recent Cabinet reshuffles won’t have any meaningful impact, unless government improves its performance by arresting the escalating cost of living. And Mpombo says President Hakainde Hichilema must restructure his entire underperforming Cabinet rather than just tinkering around the edges by firing former chief government spokesperson Chushi Kasanda. On Monday, President Hichilema terminated Kasanda’s appointment as Information and Media Minister, replacing her with then Southern Province Minister Cornelius Mweetwa. The Head of State also appointed Princess Kasune as Central Province Minister after transferring Credo Nanjuwa to be Minister for Southern Province.
