A NAKONDE based secondary school teacher who was arrested on his wedding day for having carnal knowledge of a 10-year-old boy has been convicted and committed to the High Court for sentencing. Lusaka Magistrate Crispin Hampungani convicted the 45-year-old teacher, saying according to the evidence adduced before him, he was satisfied that the prosecution proved its case beyond all reasonable doubt. “I, therefore, find the accused person guilty as charged for unnatural offences against the order of nature. I convict him accordingly,” magistrate Hampungani said.
