GOVERNMENT has lifted the restriction imposed on the movement of live pigs, pig products and by-products in and out of Chongwe district. Minister of Fisheries and Livestock Makozo Chikote on 19th September this year-imposed a restriction on the movement of pigs, pig products and by-products following an outbreak of African swine fever which affected three (3) facilities in Chaminuka and Palabana areas of Chongwe district.
