THE Human Rights Commission has appealed to prison authorities to take special measures aimed at preventing the cholera outbreak in detention and correctional facilities. According to a statement, Tuesday, Human Rights Commission Spokesperson Mweelwa Muleya states that individuals deprived of liberty are at high risk of contracting cholera due to overcrowding and inadequate access to water supply and sanitation services.
