DEPUTY Chinese Ambassador to Zambia Wang Sheng has disclosed that the Chinese government has dispatched a team of experts to come and beef up the rescue team at Macrolink mine where seven miners are currently trapped underground. Seven miners, who include five Zambians and two Chinese nationals, were trapped at the Chinese owned Macrolink Mine located along the Ndola-Mufulira Road in the early hours of Monday. By press time, the miners were still trapped underground, while efforts were being made to pump out the water and to retrieve them.
