COPPERBELT Province Minister Elisha Matambo says it will take more than 60 days to retrieve the trapped miners at Macrolink Copper mine because the robot that was being used in the operation reached its limit. Last month, seven miners including two Chinese nationals, got stuck in a flooded Macrolink Copper mine, which is still under construction in Ndola. Updating the media recently, Macro Link Copper Mine said a South African Company, Hill International, was engaged to provide a robot that would be used to search and possibly retrieve the seven trapped miners.
