A 60-YEAR-OLD man of Lusaka’s Chainda compound has appeared before the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court and denied having carnal knowledge of his 11-year-old granddaughter. Danston Siwelwa is facing three counts of incest Contrary to Section 159(1) of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia. Particulars of the offence in count one are that Siwelwa, on unknown dates but between December 2, 2023 and December 9, 2023, in Lusaka, had carnal knowledge of V.B, who to his knowledge is his granddaughter.
