PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema’s political advisor Levy Ngoma says NDC leader Saboi Imboela should go and strip naked at the graveyard since she confessed that she had sex with a ghost.
And Ngoma says Petauke Central MP Emmanuel Jay Banda’s so called abduction is a useless and fake movie which has gone wrong.
Meanwhile, Ngoma says the Patriotic Front should be grateful that President Hakainde Hichilema has asked UPND members not to seek revenge against them.
On Sunday, Mporokoso PF member of parliament Brian Mundubile charged that UPND had perfected the art of abduction while NDC leader, Saboi Imboela had threatened to strip naked at Community House over Banda’s disappearance.
But commenting on this in an interview, Tuesday, Ngoma said Imboela’s nakedness was capable of scaring people since she has confessed that she’s had carnal knowledge of a ghost.
“Saboi is a person who is on record having confessed of having carnal knowledge with a ghost. Surely, you see the level of the human beings that we are dealing with, if somebody can go to the extent of having carnal knowledge with a ghost, it should show what levels of the human beings they are. Who would want to see the nakedness that was abused by a ghost? It will make people run away. No, viyofya ivo [that’s scary]. Ni maloza ayo, akazidiling’ana chabe na vibanda [that’s a taboo, she should just be dealing with the ghosts]. This is no laughing matter my brother. I have said she should just be dealing with the ghosts. She should live her ghost behaviour and not influence other women,” he said.
“You know, when you have carnal knowledge with a being, the Bible says that you become one body. So when somebody is one body with a chibanda [ghost], what can we say? It’s even a sheer waste of time to even comment on that. No one would want to see that, no one is interested in that, akaende ku manda [she should go to the graveyard] where we believe that that is where ghosts are. She should go and display her nakedness at the graveyard, kwamene uko [just there]. That’s why I’m saying these people are not normal”.
And Ngoma said Banda’s abduction was a useless and fake movie that went wrong.
“So, my dear I have read what Mundubile was saying. This issue of Jay Jay, I know matters will be in court soon, you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to see clearly that this was just something that was made up. A useless movie gone wrong. Useless theatre gone wrong. All they wanted to do is to see to it that Zambians should rise against this democratically elected government, to increase tension. There are so many questions that remain unanswered today. But all points to the fact that this was fake. Something that is fake, will remain fake. Let him get out of that hospital wherever he is today, to answer. Time of reckoning is [coming]. The nation needs to know. He will account,” he said.
“False alarm is a serious offence. You want to use that situation of Jay Jay to peddle division, tribal hatred in this country, ah! Since when did a fake abduction become a tribal issue? You see, now as they begin to be questioned, we’ll see who will have the last laugh in this whole episode. They felt that ‘no, tabafyanta aba’[we have thumped them] tizaona wamene azafyantiwa [we shall see who will be thumped]. Mundubile should spend his energy on something else, probably go and fight the one that he is bitter with, Robert Chabinga, because of that position of the leader of opposition in parliament. Take his anger somewhere else”.
Meanwhile, Ngoma said the PF should be grateful that President Hichilema has asked UPND members not to seek revenge.
“From day one, the PF need to actually thank President HH, because he is their last form of defence. The moment President HH will say ‘oh, enough is enough, let me not prevent this from happening’, these guys, they can’t even be on the street, they can’t be moving freely but because President HH is a hugely decent being, he has told his members ‘don’t avenge, you do this, the long arm of the law will visit you’. That has come at a huge cost to President HH because some of the good number of the members where I see are saying ‘ah, manje ba boss sibanaone kuti ise benze kuti bonyola aba banthu, bafuna bapitilize kuti chita vaso (didn’t the boss see that these guys used to beat us, does he want these people to continue doing that to us)? And because he believes that people should be able to co-exist, he has prevented that. That’s the leakage, PF, take or leave it. The man that they want to vilify today is their only pure defence they have. So, they have to be careful,” he said.
Ngoma also said it was unfortunate that Kaumbwe MP Dr Aaron Mwanza drew the Petauke royal highnesses into the “evil theatre”.
“Very unfortunate that he can think of drawing their royal highnesses in this whole evil theatre, very unfortunate to be talking about their royal highnesses are not eating. Now that things are unfolding, can they still say the same things that they were saying? Whoever was trying to issue all those inflammatory statements over this issue, can they now stand on the podium and proudly say those things? Nibamvelela chifundo [I feel pity for them] like I have said because the government they want to malign has been there to defend them. Probably the [opposition] need to sit down and pray for more protection of President HH and pray for long life because without him kaya [no one knows what would happen]” said Ngoma.
“The UPND has got nothing to gain in this whole episode. Zero, zero gain. So, all we can say is that let the opposition provide real proper checks and balances and in doing that, does not mean to issue inflammatory statements, you go to dream that yes, today this government and you want to behave like it is not in power, as though there’s no law enforcement officers, as though there shouldn’t be law and order in the country. Their job is to provide proper, decent checks and balances. So, President HH has always preached peace and harmony, co-existence in opposition, in government and going forward, he shall continue to do that. So, let peace reign in this country”.
