FORMER president Edgar Lungu says during his time in power, he allowed the Judiciary to operate freely and independently. He says courts were even able to make decisions that went against his government because, by virtue of his upbringing, he always tried to be politically honest, factual and respectful in his engagements. This is not only an absolutely misleading statement, but also a desperate attempt by Mr Lungu to hoodwink the people of Zambia once more.
