THE Ministry of Home Affairs and Internal Security has dismissed insinuations from some sections of society that the UPND is preparing to rig the 2026 polls due to increased issuance of NRCs. The ministry argues that if previous governments came into power or attempted or succeeded in rigging elections in the past, this should not be assumed as a path that the new dawn government will take.
