THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has acquitted PF faction vice-president Given Lubinda, who was charged with failure to surrender a diplomatic passport and holding more than one passport. Meanwhile, Lubinda says President Hakainde Hichilema wants every member of the opposition convicted. In the first count, it was alleged that between January 1, 2023 and October 26, 2023 in Lusaka, Lubinda, without reasonable excuse, failed or refused to submit or surrender a Diplomatic Passport number ZN873367 to the Chief Passports and Citizenship Officer when required to do so.
