ZESCO says an unforeseen technical fault has led Maamba Energy Limited to undertake corrective maintenance on one of its two generators, resulting in a temporary reduction of available national power generation by 150 megawatts. The utility says the maintenance is expected to last for one week, from October 20 to 27, 2024, reducing the available power generation capacity during this period.
