Esther said this yesterday after appearing in court in a matter where she is jointly charged with James Phiri and Lee Chisulo, both police officers, along with Kapambwe Lungu and former president Edgar Lungu’s niece Catherine Banda, for the theft of a motor vehicle. Addressing her supporters, Esther, who was accompanied by her husband, Lungu, urged them not to relent and to continue exhibiting the same spirit of support. “Thank you for supporting us. We’re so grateful. Please do not relent. This is the spirit that should be exhibited as Zambians and those that want to show Zambia as a Christian nation....
