MATERO PF MP Miles Sampa has applied to be joined as an interested party to a matter where PF faction Secretary General Morgan Ng’ona has dragged the National Assembly to the Constitutional Court seeking a declaration that its failure to declare Sampa’s seat vacant is in direct contravention of Article 72(1) of the Constitution. Sampa has asked the Constitutional Court to join him to the proceedings to show that Ng’ona’s petition lacks merit.
