CHAIRPERSON for information and Publicity in the Patriotic Front, Mr Emmanuel Mwamba, claims that the Electoral Commission of Zambia is not capable of conducting free and fair elections in the country. He says ECZ has “shamelessly” become a tool of the ruling UPND party. This is not new, and that’s the historical pattern in Zambia’s electoral politics which Chief Electoral Officer Brown Kasaro was reminding us of a few days ago.
