A 41-year-old Zambia Air Force (ZAF) flight sergeant has appeared before the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court and has denied a charge of incest. George Bernard Mulinganiza is charged with incest Contrary to Section 159(1) of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia. Particulars of the offence allege that Mulinganiza, on dates unknown but between August 1, 2024, and August 31, 2024, in Lusaka, had unlawful carnal knowledge of a female, knowing the same to be his biological daughter. When the matter came up for plea before Magistrate Kawama Mwamfuli, Mulinganiza denied the charge after it was read out to him.
