ATTORNEY General Mulilo Kabesha has told the Constitutional Court that the existing legal framework sufficiently provides for the acquisition of citizenship by refugees under controller and secure conditions. And Kabesha has told the court that children born from refugees in Zambia acquire their parents’ nationality but may apply for Zambian citizenship when they are 18 years old.
