FORMER Religious Affairs Minister Reverend Godfridah Sumaili says government needs to attach honesty and sincerity when engaging the church. On Monday, Chief Government Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa and Auxiliary Bishop of Chipata Gabriel Msipu Phiri had a closed door meeting which lasted over four hours, after which Bishop Msipu emphasised the importance of open dialogue, mutual respect and collaboration between the two parties.
