THE Choma Subordinate Court has convicted and sentenced three forestry officers to nine months imprisonment with hard labour for illegally disposing of 600 timber logs. In a statement, Thursday, Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Head of Corporate Communications Timothy Moono said Leonard Mashata, Akabondi Akolwa and John Lundumuna disposed of the 600 timber logs, which had been impounded from five complainants found without permits during an operation, without obtaining a court order.
