THE Office of the Public Protector has disclosed that the institution recorded a total of 1,169 cases of maladministration in 2024, of which 536 were fully investigated and resolved after thorough review. Public Protector Caroline Sokoni says her office’s target for 2025 is to receive at least 10,000 complaints of maladministration.
