TO commemorate Africa Freedom Day, President Hakainde Hichilema yesterday awarded 16 Zambians for their outstanding service and contributions to the nation during an investiture ceremony held at State House. This year’s Africa Freedom Day was being observed under the theme: “Educate and Skill Africa for the 21st Century: Building Resilient Education Systems for Increased Access to Inclusive, Lifelong Quality and Relevant Learning in Africa.” During the Investiture Ceremony, President Hichilema honoured Lawrence Katilungu and Hezekiah Gwaale Habaanyama posthumously under the Grand Commander of the Order of the Companion of Freedom, 1st Division.
