POLICE in Lusaka have apprehended a police officer for unlawfully discharging his AK47 rifle in a public area within Bauleni Compound. In a statement, Saturday, Police Public Relations Officer Rae Hamoonga said Constable Zuka, a Paramilitary unit officer, was apprehended after he discharged the firearm in Bauleni at around 06:30hrs yesterday. “Woodlands Police Station, through Bauleni Police Post, today Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 07:10 hours, received a report from concerned members of the public regarding the unlawful discharge of a firearm by a Police Officer.
